 OBJECTIVE: The students discriminate the present simple


tense with the present progressive tense.
 Teacher explains a “Pictionary”
game activity for use with “ The
usual actions” flashcards.

 Students pairs use flashcards to


alternate turns acting out and
guessing some action vocabulary
words to the corresponding
pictures.

 Students practice choral


pronunciation drill of action
vocabulary words.
 Teacher explains the uses, structures and forms of the
present simple tense.
 Teacher explains the uses, structures and forms of the present progressive
tense.
 Students contrasts the characterisitcs of the present
simple tense and present progressive tense.
 STUDENTS COMPARE THE CHARACTERISITCS OF THE PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE AND
PRESENT PROGRESSIVE TENSE.
 STUDENTS PRACTICES IN SENTENCES THE DIFERENCES BETWEEN THE
PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE AND THE PRESENT PROGRESSIVE TENSE.
