INTRODUCTION
Nowadays is really necessary to know how important internships could become in the
graduation process and then to get a good job. So, much more than just pre-professional
practices, this period was a great opportunity to experience the work that will be done as
future professionals, it means to be able to develop the skills and attitudes for a specific
job.
Is important to consider too, excellence in a university major, in this case Pedagogía de
los Idiomas Nacionales y Extranjeros, is not achieved only in the study of elementary
theories and topics that it involves the correct use of language, the interaction with the
students, the correct teaching-learning process, etc., because although these provide the
necessary knowledge for academic development, they are not entirely useful by
themselves without experience in the labor field.
Future teachers or professors must relate to, analyze and come into contact with the area
of education long before their graduation. This is because a career as an educator requires
not only a vocation but also experience when dealing with children, adolescents or adults
in terms of training.
The university-society link is established in the social commitment of the first which is
Universidad Técnica de Ambato to satisfy the demand for people prepared and capable
of facing the social problems that affect the second which was “Nueva Era School”.
In this sense, the university has its perspective towards the professionalization of this
major and has established the importance of training students not only with the adequate
knowledge to understand the social reality but also, capable of facing it and modifying it,
for this the importance of training from practice.
In this way is important to mention that, through internships greatly facilitate student
participation in dynamic learning contexts characterized by the establishment of
relationships between the university and other institutions (school, high schools,
technological institutes) or sectors that represent professional development in different
areas of knowledge.
With the passage of time and despite the fact that the university is the first place where
they should define the professional path, with the professional internships they manage
to complete all the necessary knowledge for the moment in which the person must
exercise their position and that is where the importance of professional practices becomes
stronger because to be a teacher is an easy work, it requires more than experience, it
requires vocation, aptitude, and above all responsibility.

REFLECTION
It is important to consider that during the process of pre-professional practices it has
helped me a lot, to understand several things about this field job, so I could realize that to
being teacher is not an easy work, it requires many things more than experience and it is
that here involves values and attitudes, but above all vocation because as future English
teachers is necessary to reached students in the best way, inculcating them more than the
academic knowledge during the school year, but also, teacher should educate with values
and ethic.
Therefore, internships taught me the way in what I’m going to work in the future, as well,
my tutor in Nueva Era School was an important person who knew help me in the process
of practices, he gave me the opportunity to mange the classroom and teach students
according my teacher’s planification every day. It was a really interesting and useful
experience, not just because I was internalized in this process of working internships, but
also because I learned how is going to be my future job.
