The School of Teacher Education oriented the third-year students regarding the TEQE which
filtered the students and evaluated the capacity of their prior knowledge regarding the PROED and
GENED. The Teacher education qualifying Examination happens on January 7, 2022, through
Google Meet and the coordinator and Dean of the School of Teacher Education announce the
important reminder that the students need to follow during the examination to avoid
disqualification or failure. Additionally, this TEQE is the bases for if the students are qualified to
be future teacher leaders and if they could be able to move forward in the fourth year.
As the coordinator presented the schedule of the Teacher Education Qualifying

Examination, the students must start to review their notes to pass the exam.
The objective of this program is to filter the education of students who have strong
academic competence that shall serve as a mechanism for a good quality teacher.
The important policies and procedures in taking the TEQE were discussed by the
coordinator to avoid misinterpretation.
The passing score of TEQE was presented to the third-year students which they should
surpass, enabling them to pass the passing grade but if they didn’t meet the passing scores
the students have no choice but to shift course or transfer to other schools.
The orientation for third-year students went well thus, the coordinator gave thanks to all the
students who listened and understood the event.
Coordinator, ask the students about their thoughts on the orientation if they have something
to ask concerning the TEQE.
The open forum is open for the students' questions, comments, and suggestions regarding
the program. And the coordinator asked the students to open their cameras to take
documentation.
The attendance of third-year students shows the active participants during the orientation,
and all third years are present during orientation.

Date : October 22, 2021
Event : TEQE Remediation Program Review
Attendees : RP Education Students
Topic : Mathematics in the Modern World
Mr. Baquiran has been appointed by the School of Teacher Education to be the lecturer for RP
students, and the lecture on Mathematics in the Modern World began at exactly 1 p.m. on October
22, 2021. All of the RP students attended the review, which empowered them to broaden their
knowledge of mathematics and its role in the world. Mr. Baquiran is a good mathematics teacher
who helps his students understand and appreciate mathematics.
The history of Fibonacci and who developed it, as well as the ratio and other mathematical
learning, have all been discussed. "Mathematics is everywhere," as stated by the book of
Mathematics in the Modern World.
The lecturer gave the RP students an outline of the topic he was about to discuss so that they
could replenish their knowledge.
The presenter gave the students a problem to solve on their own so that the lecturer could
evaluate the RP students were good at analysis.
To make the discussion more interesting and informative, the lecturer shared a short clip
from the session, which allowed students to thoroughly comprehend the topic.
To officially begin the lecture, Mr. Baquiran introduces himself and the topic he will be
discussing.
Mr. Baquiran began the lecture by presenting a quick exercise as a stimulus for the
students to evaluate their teaching - learning process.
Mr. Baquiran reads a statement from a famous man who says that the environment is
linked to mathematics, such as the sunflower.
The review is interactive because students are actively engaging in the session by
answering questions about the symbols from the lecturer.
Only a few of the 30 students who took the review and attended Mr. Baquiran's lecture,
despite the fact that the session was extremely informative and engaging.
The lesson covered the Binary and Components, allowing students to gain a better
understanding of it and how to utilize it effectively in mathematics.
The lecturer emphasized the relationship of mathematics in nature, particularly the

form of sunflowers, honeycombs, and other natural phenomena, as the fibunacci
eloquently illustrated.

Topic : Assessment In Students Learning
One of the PROFED's specializations is the assessment of students' learning, and Mr. Levy
Audelmar is one of the lecturers who were appointed to lecture the ASL for the RP students; the
lecture is engaging and productive to the RP students because they have prior knowledge as well
as other specializations. The lecturer emphasized an important topic, which is the various modes
of evaluation.
The lecturer began by introducing the assessment of students' learning, after which he
inquired about their comprehension, and then went on to discuss the content and significance
of the assessment.
Mr. Levy paused his presentation for a moment to check the number of RP students that
attended the review, as only a few of the 30 RP students showed up for the final day of
review.
The class begins with a short game in which the presenter asks the students what they see in
their representation of a picture.
After asking the students to visualize the given picture, the lecturer exhibited a messed-up
picture and instructed them to answer 2 if they noticed the thing he was referring to in the
picture.
The lecturer asked if RP students recalled the three learning domains, which are affective,
cognitive, and psychomotor.
The mode of assessment has been clearly explained, as well as its category, which the RP
students are aware of, such as the portfolio including documentation and so on.
The differences and relevance of reliability and validity were discussed, allowing students
to understand how they are used and defined.
The types of evaluation and procedures, particularly summative and formative assessment,
were highlighted. Allowing students to define and differentiate the four evaluations.
After the discussion, the lecturer attempted to provide an item for all students to answer to
determine whether or not they had truly learned from the lecture.
The lecturer accurately explains Bloom's taxonomy model, and he asks the RP students to
come up with an objective for their lesson plan that refers to Bloom's taxonomy model.
The multiple intelligence theory of Howard Gardner was also discussed, and the lecturer
encouraged participants to share their skills under the multiple intelligence theory.
After the lecture, the question and answer session happens, as well as the rationalization,
to complete the review.
Right after review, the lecturer asked the RP students about their newly acquired knowledge
and advised them to check their notes to pass their TEQE remediation.

Topic : Contemporary World
The School of Teacher Education assigned Mr. Dacanay to review the RP students in
Contemporary World, at exactly 1 pm on September 25, 2021. Globalization is the main topic of
the review that shows a broad connection to society and industry. Also, the world trade
organization and two premises of globalization have been discussed to make the RP students
understand the branches of globalization that rotate in world economics. The review session
consists of two lessons which are the structure of globalization and the globalization of the world
economy has also components that expand the discussion or lessons.
Before the lecture began, they pray to the Almighty and seek God's guidance to produce a
review more fruitful.
After the prayer, the lecturer greet the RP students and started to begin the discussion about
the globalization.
Mr. Dacanay began the lesson by showing the RP students a picture and inquiring them to
scrutinize what the photo embodies about the topic.
The lecturer started to discuss the Lesson 1 which globalization had two categories that the
RP students must know.
The lecturer defined and explained globalization and also the anti-globalization that Manfred
Stegers described the globalization.
The globalization of world economics has been explained to the RP students, particularly the
importance of the GDP and GNP.
Mr. Dacanay talked about the states and their branches including the difference between nation
and state.
The Philippine stocks and partnership with other country was explained by the lecturer
including the Chinese country and the trade and finances.
The world population in Median Age has been surveyed that show the findings of overall
world population.

The contemporary world has an expanded connection to the industries of each nation and states
that the lecturer wants us to understand the situation by learning each part.

Remediation Program
Topic : Foundation of Special Inclusive Education
Mr. Dacanay reviewed the Foundation of Special Inclusive Education for RP students in order to
enrich their understanding of this specialization. The review session was occurred on October 22,
2021, at exactly 8 a.m. and ended at about 12 p.m., during which time the discussion and
rationalization were completed in a short amount of time.
The review outline, as well as the objective, have been presented. The lecturer delivered more than
two presentations, allowing the students to completely understand the review.
The lecturer discussed first the different approaches to make inclusive education work in
regular schools.
Mr. Dacanay, presented the K – 12 Philippine Basic education Curriculum Framework which
the context are attached including the legal bases, needs of national and global community.
The review began by introducing the term special education for special needs. The lecturer
discussed and explained special education for RP students to gain a better awareness of it .
The lecturer distinguishes between special education and regular education by providing a
situation and example based on real-life observation and experience.
The learning disorders have been clearly defined, which are dysgraphia, dyslexia, and
dyscalculia, with which the special needs students struggle.
The lecturer also addressed the implemented programs and plans for the students who have
a special needs.
The lecturer showed the legal categories of exceptionalities which are autism, deaf –
blindness and etc.
The educational policies of the children needs, facts and figures has been discussed and
elucidate to the RP students to widen their information about the special needs children.
As the department of education aims for the special need children the SDG Goal 4 stated
that “they ensure the inclusive and equally education for the students regularly and
special needs”.
The lecturer asks the RP students about the difference of handicap and disabilities
before he continue his lecture.
The objectives of the higher education for the special needs children and their plan has
been discussed by the lecturer.
After the overflowing discussion, the lecturer proceed to the rationalization of RP students to
measure their learning about the specialization.

Remediation Program
Topic : Teaching Profession
Mr. Dacanay was appointed by the School of Teacher Education to lecture the RP students about
professional education as part of the TEQE remedial program on October 16, 2021. The session
began at 8 a.m. and ended around 12 p.m., during a short span of time the lecturer discussed all of
the important things that the students must understand, particularly the code of ethics and the new
teacher standard, enabling the students to qualify as a teacher. The lecturer's deep understanding
is beneficial to RP students in passing the TEQE remedial exam.
The life-long code of ethics has been thoroughly explained in any single component of the
class as the lectures highlight, allowing future teachers to remember it before, during, and
after their profession.
Each sections and teacher's rights are carefully explained for RP students to comprehend
and avoid confusion before they become teachers.
To assure a high standard of teaching in the twenty-first century, the qualification and
competencies of a good teacher have also been addressed by the lecturer.
Mr. Dacanay paused his presentation for a moment to question the students on the lesson,
and the students are fully engaged in the lecture.
The lecturer instructed the students to remember his presentation as he discussed, and
then he questioned them.
The educational community was also mentioned as part of the teaching service in the
community, particularly to the parents of the students, to meet the educational needs of
learners.
Students must evaluate the question and explain why they concluded their conclusion.
The lecturer presents a situation to which the selected students must respond with an
explanation.
Basis of the discussion, the lecturer provided a ten-item question, which the RP students
were to answer one by one, explaining why they chose their answer.
The articles and legislation of professional education, as well as the history and changing
names of the department of education, have been thoroughly discussed.
Mr. Dacanay further clarified the terms used in the relevant mandates. And he
addressed about how they were related to one another.
Being a one-of-a-kind teacher means that your role as a teacher never ends within the
classroom or on campus, because as a teacher, you must be flexible in order to meet the
needs of society.
The professor highlighted and described the components of learning for the RP students
to understand the differences.
The lecture concluded with a very enlightening lesson that clarified RP students'
understanding of articles, sections, laws, and roles of being a teacher not only in the
classroom but also in the community.

Event : TEQE Remediation Program Orientation
Topic: Science Technology and Society
The School of Teacher Education conducted a TEQE Remediation Program for education students who
failed the first TEQE examination. The program was held at 9:00 a.m. on October 2, 2021, through Google
Meet until 12:00 p.m. The guest lecturer was Ma'am Benita Biala, a SITE faculty member from Universidad
de Dagupan. The topic was all about science, technology, and society. She further discussed a lot of topics
that were really useful and important. The learning objectives are to explain general concepts related to
science and technology. To explain the scope of study of Science, Technology, and Society and lastly, to
demonstrate preparedness and readiness in the study of STS. Ma’am Biala started her lecture by introducing
Science, Technology, and Society. Then, after that, she explains the definition of each word. It was really
exciting, as we know that we are now in a modern world where technology is everywhere. The topic was
also enjoyable since it tackled the ancient period, the Middle Ages, and the different inventions of great
Filipino people here in the Philippines. This lecture also refreshed the knowledge of RP education students
about the foci units: the Copernican Revolution, the Darwinian Revolution, and the Freudian Revolution.
The cooperating teacher introduced the Science Technology and Society lecturer to the Rp
students.
The lecturer presented the learning outcomes that enable to RP students to meet the
objectives after the discussion.
Before the lesson begin the lecturer asked the Rp students about the topic and then she
defined the meaning of Science, Technology, and Society to be more understandable
to the RP students.
Technology has a huge definition, and Mark Zuckerberg's also defined technology
based on his understanding that he make it more simple to understand.
The ancient period was discussed particularly the ancients wheel, paper, shadoof,
aeolipile, etc. that upgrade to the modern era.
The lecturer discussed and explained the history of middle age and it produced
material that was used during middle age.
In the modern age the people realized the utmost importance of increasing the
efficiency of the transportation, communication and production.
Mrs. Biala discussed the Filipino inventor named Dr. Del Mundo who had a big
contribution in history.
The revolution of popular scientist has been discussed – one of that is Copernican
Revolution which the Sun and earth was clarified.
One of the revolution that lecturer discussed is the Freudian Revolution in

which Sigmund Freud developed his psychoanalysis theory.
The history of pre- Spanish era was discussed to the RP students which the agriculture
and the sources of the indigenous people were explained.
The lecturer tackled the connection of school and religion which was mandated
during that time as well as constructing buildings and etc.
After the discussion, Mrs. Biala asked the Rp students to answer the following enable
to know if they acquired knowledge from the previous discussion.
Before the review end, Mrs. Biala presented a motivational quote that inspired the RP
students to study hard despite their situation.

Remediation Program
Date : September 25, 2021
Topic : Understanding the Self
The School of Teacher Education has begun a review session for students who failed the TEQE
qualifying examination. Mr. Mark Joseph Landingin leads the review via Google Meet on
September 21, 2021. On the day of the review, 29 students are present. The program begins at 8:00
a.m. and concludes at 12:00 p.m. During the said activity, students are permitted to participate
actively in order to further assimilate the lesson meant for them. This induced the succession of
the remediation of the education students, every Saturday is being given for their review lectures.
The review highlights the general education subject specifically Understanding the Self the subject
assists the understanding of terminologies that can be a wonderful asset for the students. Also, Mr.
Landingin delivers a more comprehensive discussion about the topic; this might be a refreshment
for the takers that provides opportunities for them to pass at this point of remediation.
Before, the review began the formal lesson, the cooperating teacher prays for
guidance for the review session.
The Cooperating teacher starts to introduce the subject of Understanding the self to
the RP students.
The lecturer opens with the question of what do they know about the word
understanding the self and what they’ve had to understand.
After getting the response from the RP students, the teacher stated what covers the
lecture of the whole session.
The lesson begins with a phrase that can motivate reviewers since it demonstrates that
life does not end with a single lesson but rather brings numerous lessons as you
navigate the real world.
The lecturer expounds on the explanation regarding getting a high score in taking the
examination.
The lecturer gives an example of a question, and the RP students are asked to type
their answers in the comment section.
In this slide, the lecturer starts to explain and rationalized the question and asked the
students what they are considering in choosing the correct answer.
After rationalizing the question, the lecturer starts to introduce the American
Philosopher and talks about the stages of the social self.
To dig deep, they talk about self; next is the Managing and Caring for the self, an
essential topic for the lecture to boost one’s self-esteem.
The lecturer discussed more Self-Esteem with the RP students which will help them
to know the difference between low and high esteem.
To have a piece of in-depth knowledge about the topic, the lecturer provides some
factual information to add some knowledge.
To refresh the memories of the RP students, the lecturer talks about David Kolb’s
Experiential Learning Cycle, these tackles experiential learning gives us a helpful paradigm
by which to construct training practice.
To comprehend it more, the lecturer elucidates to the RP students about the various types of
theories and strategies.
An additional introduction for more application of strategies is Vygotsky who tells the
cognitive development of a person. This is tackled during the review session of Mr.
Landingin.
These slides present the learning outcomes on this subject and what is the coverage of
the learning session.
Next, is the Unpacking the Self which delves into the different types of understanding
of the self. The lecturer gives a brief lecture regarding the topic.
After the brief introduction of Unpacking the Self, the lecturer introduce the illness
called Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a virus that is transmitted from person to person
via skin-to-skin contact.
To fatherly, educate about the said illness, the lecturer presents precautions to avoid and
learn how to become conscious of oneself.
The lecturer provides an in-depth differentiation of a growth mindset and a fixed mindset.
He carefully introduces the difference between the two.
