The School of Teacher Education oriented the third-year students regarding the TEQE which
filtered the students and evaluated the capacity of their prior knowledge regarding the PROED and
GENED. The Teacher education qualifying Examination happens on January 7, 2022, through
Google Meet and the coordinator and Dean of the School of Teacher Education announce the
important reminder that the students need to follow during the examination to avoid
disqualification or failure. Additionally, this TEQE is the bases for if the students are qualified to
be future teacher leaders and if they could be able to move forward in the fourth year.

As the coordinator presented the schedule of the Teacher Education Qualifying


Examination, the students must start to review their notes to pass the exam.

The objective of this program is to filter the education of students who have strong
academic competence that shall serve as a mechanism for a good quality teacher.

The important policies and procedures in taking the TEQE were discussed by the
coordinator to avoid misinterpretation.

The passing score of TEQE was presented to the third-year students which they should
surpass, enabling them to pass the passing grade but if they didn’t meet the passing scores
the students have no choice but to shift course or transfer to other schools.

The orientation for third-year students went well thus, the coordinator gave thanks to all the
students who listened and understood the event.

Coordinator, ask the students about their thoughts on the orientation if they have something
to ask concerning the TEQE.

The open forum is open for the students' questions, comments, and suggestions regarding
the program. And the coordinator asked the students to open their cameras to take
documentation.

The attendance of third-year students shows the active participants during the orientation,
and all third years are present during orientation.

Topic : Mathematics in the Modern World

Mr. Baquiran has been appointed by the School of Teacher Education to be the lecturer for RP
students, and the lecture on Mathematics in the Modern World began at exactly 1 p.m. on October
22, 2021. All of the RP students attended the review, which empowered them to broaden their
knowledge of mathematics and its role in the world. Mr. Baquiran is a good mathematics teacher
who helps his students understand and appreciate mathematics.
The history of Fibonacci and who developed it, as well as the ratio and other mathematical
learning, have all been discussed. "Mathematics is everywhere," as stated by the book of
Mathematics in the Modern World.

The lecturer gave the RP students an outline of the topic he was about to discuss so that they
could replenish their knowledge.

The presenter gave the students a problem to solve on their own so that the lecturer could

answering questions about the symbols from the lecturer.

Only a few of the 30 students who took the review and attended Mr. Baquiran's lecture,

One of the PROFED's specializations is the assessment of students' learning, and Mr. Levy
Audelmar is one of the lecturers who were appointed to lecture the ASL for the RP students; the
lecture is engaging and productive to the RP students because they have prior knowledge as well
as other specializations. The lecturer emphasized an important topic, which is the various modes
of evaluation.

The lecturer began by introducing the assessment of students' learning, after which he
inquired about their comprehension, and then went on to discuss the content and significance
of the assessment.

Mr. Levy paused his presentation for a moment to check the number of RP students that
attended the review, as only a few of the 30 RP students showed up for the final day of
review.

The class begins with a short game in which the presenter asks the students what they see in
their representation of a picture.

After asking the students to visualize the given picture, the lecturer exhibited a messed-up

The lecturer asked if RP students recalled the three learning domains, which are affective,
cognitive, and psychomotor.

The School of Teacher Education assigned Mr. Dacanay to review the RP students in
Contemporary World, at exactly 1 pm on September 25, 2021. Globalization is the main topic of
the review that shows a broad connection to society and industry. Also, the world trade
organization and two premises of globalization have been discussed to make the RP students
understand the branches of globalization that rotate in world economics. The review session
consists of two lessons which are the structure of globalization and the globalization of the world
economy has also components that expand the discussion or lessons.

Before the lecture began, they pray to the Almighty and seek God's guidance to produce a
review more fruitful.

The lecturer started to discuss the Lesson 1 which globalization had two categories that the
RP students must know.

Mr. Dacanay reviewed the Foundation of Special Inclusive Education for RP students in order to
enrich their understanding of this specialization. The review session was occurred on October 22,
2021, at exactly 8 a.m. and ended at about 12 p.m., during which time the discussion and
rationalization were completed in a short amount of time.
The review outline, as well as the objective, have been presented. The lecturer delivered more than
two presentations, allowing the students to completely understand the review.

The learning disorders have been clearly defined, which are dysgraphia, dyslexia, and

Mr. Dacanay was appointed by the School of Teacher Education to lecture the RP students about
professional education as part of the TEQE remedial program on October 16, 2021. The session
began at 8 a.m. and ended around 12 p.m., during a short span of time the lecturer discussed all of
the important things that the students must understand, particularly the code of ethics and the new
teacher standard, enabling the students to qualify as a teacher. The lecturer's deep understanding
is beneficial to RP students in passing the TEQE remedial exam.

The life-long code of ethics has been thoroughly explained in any single component of the
class as the lectures highlight, allowing future teachers to remember it before, during, and
after their profession.

The School of Teacher Education conducted a TEQE Remediation Program for education students who
failed the first TEQE examination. The program was held at 9:00 a.m. on October 2, 2021, through Google
Meet until 12:00 p.m. The guest lecturer was Ma'am Benita Biala, a SITE faculty member from Universidad
de Dagupan. The topic was all about science, technology, and society. She further discussed a lot of topics
that were really useful and important. The learning objectives are to explain general concepts related to
science and technology. To explain the scope of study of Science, Technology, and Society and lastly, to
demonstrate preparedness and readiness in the study of STS. Ma’am Biala started her lecture by introducing
Science, Technology, and Society. Then, after that, she explains the definition of each word. It was really
exciting, as we know that we are now in a modern world where technology is everywhere. The topic was
also enjoyable since it tackled the ancient period, the Middle Ages, and the different inventions of great
Filipino people here in the Philippines. This lecture also refreshed the knowledge of RP education students
about the foci units: the Copernican Revolution, the Darwinian Revolution, and the Freudian Revolution.

students.

The revolution of popular scientist has been discussed – one of that is Copernican
Revolution which the Sun and earth was clarified.

One of the revolution that lecturer discussed is the Freudian Revolution in

The history of pre- Spanish era was discussed to the RP students which the agriculture
and the sources of the indigenous people were explained.

The lecturer tackled the connection of school and religion which was mandated

The School of Teacher Education has begun a review session for students who failed the TEQE
qualifying examination. Mr. Mark Joseph Landingin leads the review via Google Meet on
September 21, 2021. On the day of the review, 29 students are present. The program begins at 8:00
a.m. and concludes at 12:00 p.m. During the said activity, students are permitted to participate
actively in order to further assimilate the lesson meant for them. This induced the succession of
the remediation of the education students, every Saturday is being given for their review lectures.
The review highlights the general education subject specifically Understanding the Self the subject
assists the understanding of terminologies that can be a wonderful asset for the students. Also, Mr.
Landingin delivers a more comprehensive discussion about the topic; this might be a refreshment
for the takers that provides opportunities for them to pass at this point of remediation.
