LEARNING BALUARTE

ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL
CONTINUITY
PLAN CLEMENTINA D.
LAREDE
ESP- I

(LCP)
 Education is well-catered in Baluarte Elementary School from
kindergarten to Grade six. It helped all the school children enjoy their
lives in school both academic and physical aspects to equip them with
knowledge, skills attitude, and values.
 DepEd’s “newfound purpose” of the Sulong EduKalidad campaign is to
move forward together as the education system is being prepared for the
“new normal”. In this battle, all actions will be anchored on serving the
public and on ensuring that the health and safety of the learners,
teachers and personnel will be given priority.

Rationale  That the opening of classes shall be on August 24, 2020 and shall end
on April 30, 2021. No face to face classes will be allowed and shall
comply the minimum public health standards such as:
 Regular disinfection
 Mandatory wearing of masks
 Physical distancing
 Temperature check
 Provision of functional handwashing facility
 Footbath
 Availability of disinfectant alcohol
Components of LCP

 The following are hereby adopted for the LCP of the

school:

 1.5-meter social distancing

 15- 16 pupils in a classroom

 Set parameters of instructions

 Modular distance learning

Scope of the Learning Continuity Plan
Since there will be no face to face learning among the teachers and
learners, there are different learning modalities which shall be
introduced to the learners and the parents:

Follow religiously the

Most Essential Provides adequate
Learning modules and learning
Competencies activity sheets
(MELC)
The following are the different Learning Delivery Modalities that we can use:

1. Modular Distance Learning (MDL)

This is in the form of individualized instruction that allows learners to use
self-learning modules (SLM) in print of digital format/ electronic copy.
Whichever is applicable in the context of the learners and other learning
resources.

2. Online Distance Learning

Learning This features the teacher as facilitator, engaging learners’ active
Delivery participation using various technologies accessed through the internet while they
are geographically remote from each other during the instruction.
Modalities
3. Face to face instruction
This refers to the learning modality where the pupils and the teacher are
both physically present in the classroom.

4. Blended Learning
This refers to learning delivery that combines face to face with online
distance learning.
The school prefer to use the Modular Distance Learning in this
new normal for it is the only learning modality that is applicable in the
community’s location, thus some of the learners had no access to smartphone,
computer or laptop.

And based on our Learners Enrolment and Survey Form (LESF),

our parents chose Modular Distance Learning for that matter since there is
also no network signal around the area.

If this pandemic Covid19 will slow down and would allow face to
face instruction, our school will use Blended Learning, a combination of face
to face and modular distance learning.
