BSNL LAND LINE TARIFF PLANS

Main Features:
•BSNL is the largest telecom operator in India and is
known to everybody for Basic Telephony Services for over
100 years
•Presently the Plain old, Countrywide telephone service is

being provided through 32,000 electronic exchanges, 326
Digital Trunk Automatic Exchanges(TAX), all interlinked
by over 2.4 lakh km of Optical Fiber Cable.

Key Factors:
•At present BSNL is having about 90% of the total
basic service subscribers of the country.
•The calls in basic service are charged mainly on the

basis of the distance

SULABH PLAN:
Under this scheme customers who use their

bfone for incoming call only, BSNL has a
tariff plan, which has only incoming call
facility and out going calls may be made by
these telephones through India Telephone
Card (ITC) or normally after depositing
Annual Rental. This plan is called
"SULABH PLAN".
SULABH PLAN:
Monthly Rent for Sublah plan is Rs.75/99 free call
nil,O/Gcall through ITC card Rs.1.20/-
Important Features of SULABH plan:
•In this plan, outgoing calls can be made by the
customer only through ITC and other out going call
facility will be barred.
In addition to use of ITC for making outgoing calls,
customer may be allowed facilities of Outgoing(O/G)
calls and Internet calls, if he so desires. In this case,
the charges of O/G will be @ Rs. 1.20 per call.

Under One India Plan there is one of the most
affordable, customer friendly and innovative
schemes for both local and long distance calls.
According to the Scheme, the customer will be able
to call any place in India by landline by merely
spending Rs.1 per minute.

800 calls of average duration of 2min. Out of 800 calls
400 calls are STD Calls and 400 calls are local calls,
then bill under different plans will be: (assuming all
STD calls inter circle calls >50 km and exchange
capacity of 20K)
Total No. of calls=400 STD calls of average duration

of 2mins will have average 400*4=1600
MCUs(@30sec per pulse).
And 400 local calls will result into 400 MCUs
(@3mins per pulse)
So total call units to be charged =1600+400=2000

be generated.
