Place of expression

V2 receptor(also called Arginine vasopressin

receptor) is expressed in following places :

 Expressed in membrane of the cells in the

basolateral membrane of late DCT and collecting
duct.
 Also expressed outside the kidney, and, when
stimulated ,can cause the release of von
willebrand factor from the vasculature.
 Fusion of vesicle containing
ADH binds to V2 receptor,
aquaporine 2 to luminal
