INTRODUCTION

 Irrigation is defined as artificial application of water to land

or soil.

 Irrigation process can be used for the cultivation of

agricultural crops during the span of inadequate rainfall and
for maintaining landscapes.

 IOT is expected to offer advanced connectivity of devices,

systems and services that goes beyond machine-to-machine
communications and covers a variety of protocols, domains
and applications.
SCOPE
 Identification of Temperature.
Automatic motor start.
Delivering real time notification.
Identify disease prediction.
EXISTING SYSTEM
 Improving irrigation system performance is now
perceived as a more pressing need than developing new
irrigated areas, after large budgetary allocations have
gone for decades into expanding irrigated acreage.
 Investment in irrigation has not produced the
expected results.
 The actual irrigated area turns out to be much smaller
and crop yield and cropping intensity fails to increase
appreciably.
