largest concentration of indigenous inhabitants live.

Cumbia
• popular music form Columbia
• Uses the mellow sounds of percussion instruments and woodwind.
• Become popular in 1900’s principally with the lower, or working classes.
• lyrics tend to deal with drugs, robbery and other taboo topics therefore somewhat
disregarded by the Argentine upper classes.
TANGO

• Tango is the most famous musical genre and dance style to come out of Argentina.

• Today, Tango in Argentina has become a diverse and eclectic mixture of modern trends and
contemporary development.

• Tango Rock - violins and double bass to add more depth to the sound of the Tango.
