NON ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Mosque
This is a Sultan Mahmud’s Islamic
Center. Began operating on April 1, 2016,
and the construction cost of Rm13.77
Million. Sultan Mahmud’s Islamic Center
was inaugurated by His Majesty Sultan
Mizan Zainal Abidin, Sultan of Terengganu
on 2 October 2015. It can be used by
everyone because Sultan Mahmud’s Islamic
Center can accommodate 3000
congregation. Sultan Mahmud’s Islamic
Center is very spacious; moreover it can be
used by outsiders.
SPORT COMPLEX
This is Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sports
Complex. This sports complex was built on 16th
June 2008 and completed on 27th September
2010 with a cost of Rm40 million. The 4.8
hectare sports complex is a facilities that
houses a variety of facilities including closed
halls, stadiums and tracks. All students can use
the sport complex anytime because sport
complex does not have a limit to use. Since the
sport complex can use anytime, many students
do an activity such as jogging at the night.
 STUDENT MALL
Student mall is the place for umt
students to buy something their needs.
Student Mall is located in Dataran Asrama,
Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, and beside
the printer shop. Student Mall is also near to
the hostel, so it can make it easier for
students to come and buy. Student Mall will
operate from the morning at 8 o’clock until
the midnight at 12 o’clock. During the break
time, Student Mall will be closed for a while.
SULTAN MIZAN HALL This is a Sultan Mizan Hall. It is a multi
purpose hall for big events such as seminars,
convocation, and opening caremony. The shape
of the Sultan Mizan Hall has the same shape as
the turtle form so, it becomes more interesting.
The orientation days of new students is held at
Sultan Mizan Hall because it can provide a
large capacity of students. When at the end of
the final semester, all students must sit for
final examination at the Sultan Mizan Hall.
 PKU

This is a umt university health center. It is open

on sunday until thursday at 8 am to 5 pm. It is
equipped with facilities such as an ambulance,
to bring the patient to the hospital if something
happens. It is also provides medical services
staff, students and outsiders. For a new students
they are required to make a medical examination
upon admission to the university.
 CIMB BANK
CIMB bank is the main bank of UMT.
CIMB bank is one of the facilities available in
UMT, and located in complex student UMT. Cimb
bank also provide service at counter, but
people can used this service in office hour
only. UMT Cimb Bank also provide online
service for the students if they have any
problem or question regarding Cimb at the
number 09-6699914. Student easy to withdraw
money because CIMB bank machine can be
used any time.
