Vision
By 2020, PAGCOR as the prime mover will make the Philippines
the top gaming and entertainment destination in the ASEAN region,
generating revenues that fund nation-building program.
Mission
• To create an environment that propels the development of the
Philippine gaming entertainment industry.
• To be a responsible and responsive partner of the Philippine
government in the nation-building programs.
• To establish and enforce a regulatory framework that preserves the
integrity of the Philippine gaming industry.
Old Vision and Mission
Vision
When he assumed office in 2001, Chairman Efraim C. Genuino led the drive
to prepare PAGCOR for global competition and achieve record-breaking revenue
performance. Cognizant of the Philippines’ enormous potential to excel in the
international gaming industry, he set out the vision for PAGCOR as “ a global
corporation with a global mindset and a Filipino heart”.
Mission
As mandated by its charter, PAGCOR generates sources of additional
revenues for the Government to fund infrastructure and social civic projects. It has
gone beyond the breadth of its social mission by extending assistance to crucial
sectors such as sports, health, education, peace and order and the development of
local government units. PAGCOR is also mandated to create recreation and
integrated facilities which will expand and improve the countries existing tourist
attractions.

HISTORY
Established in 1976 by virtue of Presidential Decree 1869, the
Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation is a government
corporation authorized to regulate and operate casinos and other
games of chance in the Philippines. It has jurisdiction over sports
betting, internet gaming, bingo and mobile text wagering.
