    • *** Remember that the H in spanish is silent (shhhh) so its not


    /jola/ but /ola/
    GREETINGS

    • Good day--------------- Buen día


    • Good morning----------------- Buenos días
    • Good afternoon ----------------- Buenas tardes (culturally speaking from 3-7)

    • In some parts of latin america and Spain, it is polite to say buenos días, when you come
    across someone in the streets, hallways, butcher shops and address the people that are
    there.

    FAREWELLS

    • Theres only really one, however because different cultures have come in
    contact many use different ones like: ciao and bye.

    • Adiós -------- good bye


    • See you later------- hasta luego
    • See you tomorrow-------- hasta mañana
    • See you soon------------- hasta pronto
