Close Up
• To be infront of the object, person, or animal
• To show emotion Usually face only or an
object’s Details
• Abbreviation is CU
Over The Shoulder
• Abbrieviation: OTS
• To show Point of view
• The view of someone elses perspective other
than the main character or another character.
Long Shot
• Abbreviation: Ls
• To show scenery and full body
• The view of the scene from a far distance
Extreme Close Up
• Abbreviation: ECU
• This view is when the camera or perspective
of a living thing is really close to something.
• To show lots of detail to and object or
emotion.
Establishing Shot
• Abbreviation: ES
• This point of view is to show a large mass of
an area
• Used to show scenery.
High Angle Shot
• Abbreviation: HA
• This point of view is to show something or
someone from a high point of view.
• It is used to show a person to be small and
powerless.
Medium Shot
• Abbreviation: MS
• This camera angle is at a medium range and is
not supposed show full body
• Shows half body, usually if a person is in the
shot he/she stand still
Low Angle
• Abbreviation: LA
• This camera view makes an object or person
seem tall and big
• It is used to make people are thing big and
powerful
