are some of the few popular channels of cable operating systems,
which now a days becomes a need for people of every age. The
channels and the entertaining programs not only serves as a
entertaining tool but also became an advance medium of
information and knowledge for every one.
 To view this channel we have to just click on the button of remote
control and then we got the required spot. But for distribution and
monitoring of these channels we require a well-maintained and
regular monitored system known as “CABLE TELEVISION
SYSTEM”
Basic Operation
 The basic operation of any cable operating system can
be briefly explained through the block diagram given
below so that you can able to get some overview of
system .It will also give you the brief idea about the
minimum hardware required and the operation of the
system.
SATTELITES
Satellite can, not only allow us to view the national
programs but also help us to go through the
international programs. At present there are 31
satellites running round the round clock to
broadcast 100 plus channels. This is satellite which
brings revolutionary steps in the field of cable
operating systems whose results is what we see
now a days that up to what level this cable T.V
system gone.

 Satellite communication can deals with the processing


and communicating the signal. The signal, which is
being transmitted by the satellite, is being initially
produced at the television studio itself. From television
studio the signal gone to EARTH STATION. This
station converts the signals in to microwave frequency
for up linking the signals.
DISH ANTENNA
 Dish antennas, which are the satellite receiving
antennas is act as a medium for receiving the signal
from the satellite. These antennas are parabolic shape
type, which is being used to capture the signal
broadcasted by the satellite.
