Introduction
Communication is a process of exchanging information,
ideas, thoughts and emotions through speech, signals or
writing
In Communication process there is a sender/ encoder
who encodes a message then by using a medium sends the
message to the receiver, then the receiver decodes the
message and after processing the information sends back a
feedback using a channel
Types Of Communication
Types Of Communication is based on the communication channel
used:
1) Verbal Communication
2) Non- Verbal Communication

Further Verbal Communication is divided into

b) Written Communication

 In oral Communication, spoken words are used. It includes face to
face conversation, speech, telephonic conversation, video, voice over
internet etc.
 Influenced by pitch, volume, speed and clarity

b) Written Communication
 Signs and symbols are used to communicate
 Printed or handwritten form
 Transmitted via letter, email, report or memo.
 Influenced by vocabulary and grammar used
