Melodies and the C Major Scale
• Melodies are recognisable tunes; it’s the bit we usually sing,
although melodies can be played on lots of instruments

• We use notes to create melodies.

• A SCALE is a specific group of notes; there are lots of different


types of scales, each of them can be used to create different
types of music.
