A Cell is like a 747

The nucleus directs all activity that occurs
within the cell, just as the onboard computer
directs and controls the Boeing 747.
Ribosomes link amino acids
together to form proteins in the
order specified by messenger
RNA. The ribosomes are like flight
attendants because they keep
everything inside the plane
functioning and perform the orders
given to them by the captain.
