employs about 6 million workers, both
directly and indirectly.

million people every year to tackle the
production.

India, garment manufacturing has a firm
future ahead.
How Can Skill Development Help?

 The main problem of Garmnet Industry is the

underutilisation of resources and the lack of
skilled workforce.

The Garment industry provides more jobs for

women in compared to other sectors,
therefore skill development is a key point.

To become more economically stable , we

need to understand what skills to possesses
that can transform the society.

allocate financial and social resources towards
making a productive contribution.

Skill Development Centre for Sewing Training.

garments per day on an average.

These machines will enhance

abled individulas under one roof
and will triple the average
production
