Management Styles in TV

Kylie Moore
Autocratic Leaders

Helen (Bridesmaids)

In the movie Bridesmaids, the character Helen is a total

perfectionist and control freak. When she’s planning her
friend’s wedding, she obsesses over everything having
to be perfect and done only in her way.
Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld)
Throughout the show, Jerry displays autocratic traits,
mostly because he is very strict about the exact
organization of his apartment. It is very hard for his
friends to change his mind about something because he is
extremely stubborn and always thinks his opinion is right.
Laissez-Faire Leader

John “Bender” (the Breakfast Club)

In the Breakfast Club, bender is the most laid back, go

with the flow kind of guy. He comes off as this guy who
couldn’t care less about what everyone else is doing.
Wayne Campbell (Wayne’s world)

Wayne and his best friend, Garth, run a cable access

show called, “Wayne’s World.” His whole vibe is very
laid back and funny, that’s why I think he would be a
laissez-faire leader.
Democratic Leader

Stan Smith (American Dad)

Stan works as a member of the CIA. He’s a very

American man that’s organized and supports the levels
of government. He works with other members of the
CIA to solve cases and catch bad people.
Marge Simpson (The Simpsons)
Marge is your basic stereotypical sitcom mom. She
keeps a clean house, sends her kids off to school, and
makes meals for her family. I believe she’s a democratic
leader because she’s organized and does the most
thought out thing.
