Food intake is all types of food and drinks
consumed by the body every day. One
effort to achieve this goal is the provision of
food that meets nutritional needs is one of
the factors to accelerate patient recovery.

glasses, napkins, knives if necessary, and hand-
washing bowls

HOW TO FEED PATIENT WITH A
FEEDING TUBE?
1. Tell the patient
2. Wash hands
3. Adjust the position, semi fowler
4. Place the slacker under the feeding
hose/NGT
5. do food scraps by pulling the syringe
6. Cover the hose by clamping it with your
fingers bending the hose
7. attach the funnel to the hose while still
clamping / bending the hose
8. Enter the liquid food / medicine slowly,
remove the hose clips
9. Enter the drugs in the same way
10. If the food is enough, add water to
rinse
11. cover the hose with a syringe (which
was originally attached to the end of the
hose)
12. Have the patient pray after eating
13. release the slacker
14. Wash food places and funnels
15. wash hands
16. record the amount of food / drink that
has been entered / given
