WHAT IS STOCK MARKET

It is place where you buy and sell shares of the company which are listed public like
TATA BIRLA . There are more than 5000 company which are listed stock market
WHY STOCK MARKET IS NEEDED – if we are in business and business need
to grow then we need capital and from where it get capital. It get from bank other is
investor and if a company wishes to grace a large amount of capital from thousand of
the investor in that case the company go public and if company go public then it
should be listed under the stock market

EXCHANGE
• BSE- Bombay stock exchange
• NSE- National stock exchange

How company can listed in stock exchange

According to the act 1992 redhairs act launched by the SEBI

This act say that all the major document should be showed to the SEBI which
includes like when company is started, who are the founder and what are there
objective of the company how much capital the are invested in the company
And many more after that SEBI decided weather the company should be listed
in a stock exchange or not
And if the company is not listed in stock exchange then it cant sell its shares in
the market.
