What is Aerocataratas?
• Extension project; Aerocataratas is a extension project that launch a
challenge for his members, a challenge to develop a airplane model.

• Member; all the members of aerocataratas are students of

Engeneering, Computer science and math of unioeste.

• Participate in the SAE AERODESIGN competition. This airplane model

is develop to participate of SAE Aerodesign competition
 SAE AERODESIGN COMPETITION
• The beginning; The SAE competition starts at mid eighties in U.S

• Brazil competition; and came to

Brazil in 1999 (nineteen ninety nine)
and happens in
São José dos Campos - São Paulo at ITA.

• Integration between teams.

The thing that i like the most is
the friendly that happens
between teams, all teams try
to help each other to everyone
make a good flight.
 Importance of the team for students
• Knowledge in aviation; in the course we haven’t aviation classes

• Team work; the team members learn how to work in group and
improve their personal relationships at work.

• Have experience in the day of engineering. Help the student to have

the best decision in a short time, and do the best “ Jerry-rigged”
some times.
