What are E-
Sports?
E-Sports are any form of competitive gaming.
It can range from FIFA to World of Warcraft.
Although the industry is still rather young, it is worth
a staggering $905 Million as of 2018.
 The Main
Tournements.
 Whilst almost every teenage boy or girl will have played at least one video game in their
lifetime, the scale of the tournaments for the professional gamers are staggering.

 There are Worldwide tournaments for all of the major games such as Dota, World of Warcraft
and Call of Duty.

 The latest addition to the annual tournament roster is that of a Fortnite competition where
gamers can compete for up to $100000 as the 1st place prize.
 Blizzard is arguably the largest company in the gaming
industry that makes eSports and their games at the
forefront of some of their marketing campaigns
Blizzard World of Warcraft and Overwatch are their main game
and has been for many years.

 A recent trend, especially in the UK has been that
professional Soccer clubs such as Manchester United
and Manchester City have hired professional gamers to
represent them at major tournaments throughout the
FIFA and English world.
Soccer Clubs. The industry of professional gamers has seen a huge
rise and with the backing of massive entities such
as English Soccer clubs, the industry can only go up.
