Set Task Brief

- Esports are a form of competition which uses electronic video games rather than actual
physical sports, however they are often held to a high regard as being a professional player
is also as evenly challenging

- Brand Awareness decides how well known a brand is and its popularity

- They build things like Brand Awareness through the use of Social Media, Content Creators
or Online Content which viewers can all engage with and watch.

- Streaming is also a very big thing within the Esports industry with most games being
broadcasted via Stream and Players streaming their non-competitive games.

- Trends such as certain compositions and such will be a heavy part within the industry.

- The Market Size is vast and considered to be open meaning anyone could realistically make
an Esports team and compete.

- The bigger team organisations have a slightly bigger market share than others depending
on the game however majority of it will come from overall earnings through Streaming,
Tournaments and Sponsorships.

- Esports Teams commonly have big sponsorships with companies whether that be Red Bull,
Intel, Logitech, Coco-Cola and more.

- Platforms such as Twitter, YouTube and Twitch are the most popular amongst Esports
Teams as they allow for Fan Interaction and a Place for them to Broadcast.

- Some organisations will branch out further than just competition and strive to make actual
content through signing Content Creators, Notable examples of this being the NRG Thoom
House and the Faze Content House.

- Some Popular Esports would be Rocket League, Valorant, CSGO, League of Legends and
Destiny 2 however there are many more within this vast Industry.

- Examples of UK based Esports teams would be Fnatic, Vexed Gaming, London Spitfire,
Endpoint and exceL. The biggest of which being Fnatic who are one of the most well-known
names in the esports Industry.
- The average number of people within the UK that watch esports is a reported four million
which is rather low in comparison to other countries however it has been quickly rising
throughout recent years.

- Esports has became so big that they will have big stadiums to play their events in, an
example of this being League of Legends hosting their preliminaries at Madison Square
Garden. This Stadium holds a capacity of up to 21,000 people and is one of the most famous
arenas in the world due to its rich history.
