DISTORTING SPACES

Ashley Ramirez

■ How can the space around us affect us?

■ How can you manipulate a space?

■ Can a space constantly change?

Artist example photos into a single image

Matt Molloy (Time-lapse ■ He is able to create these images by experimenting with various
photography techniques and software platforms
Photographer) ■ He says “Time-lapse photography isn’t simply about capturing a
scene, the emphasis is more on how the scene changes over
time.”
Day 1 – Intro Activity

them on another paper

on to Photoshop

– Think about the composition

Homework: Bring in a laptop, if you have one and would like to, that has Photoshop (I will bring in the
laptop cart), and bring in the space you made today
Day 2- Practice on Photoshop

■ Today we will be distorting spaces in Photoshop

■ Think about what we discussed the previous day
■ Look back at the Artist example and the space you made
