 Problem Statement – Due to limited parking spots, ever
growing number of vehicles and improper parking causes
traffic congestion on most of the market places and streets.

 Idea Details
 Idea is to develop an application to identify parking places nearby any location
(custom/current) and book a parking slot. The application will have a search option for
this purpose.
 Map will shows the available parking (free/paid) places nearby that area.
 A booking system will help the vehicle holders to pre book a parking slot. This can be
done by prepaying the amount and selecting a time for parking, the Application will
generate a QR code which is to be scanned at the parking place.
 The slot availability will get updated when QR code get scanned at the entry point for
the visitors who have pre booked the parking slot, the parking area’s exit will also have a
sensor which will keep track of exiting of vehicle and update the slot availability in a
application.
 The application will provide alert system which will notify the booked user that your
parking time is to be ended. Extra charges will be applied to the user if time exceeded.

Android Studio, Google Maps API, Location API, Java, Firebase, reCAPTCHA API,
Phone Verification API.
