HISTORY

• 1950, Prof. Dr.Ir. A. Nawijn, an engineering physicist, was appointed to manage the new engineering
education department named Natuurkundig Ingenieur Afdeling.
• 1959 the technical education was named the Section of Physics Engineering which was incorporated in
the Department of Physics / Physics Engineering, with the chairman Prof.Ir. M.U.Adhiwijogo.
• 1963, the Physics Engineering Section became part of the Department of Physics Engineering and
Chemical Technology.
• 1972, it became the Department of Physics Engineering, one of the departments under the Faculty of
Industrial Technology.
• 1980, became an Engineering Physics Department under the Faculty of Industrial Technology.
• 1999, became the Department of Engineering Physics under the Faculty of Industrial Technology.
• 2005, became an Engineering Physics Study Program under the Faculty of Industrial Technology.
CURRICULUM

The Engineering Physics Bachelor Program curriculum takes place in three stages with a
total credit of 144 credits.

HISTORY

The establishment of Engineering Physics at the National University began with a paper
written by Ir. Sriati Djafrie Mme. Met. (ITB Engineering Physics Alumni).
During the discussion, Ir. Sriatie Djafrie Mme. Met. Accompanied by Mr. Bambang Permadi
from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNAS, who finally reached an
agreement to open the Department of Engineering Physics at UNAS.

total credit of 144 credits.

The Physics Engineering S1 Study Program was established in early 2009 based on the
Decree of the Higher Education Directorate of the Ministry of National Education of the
Republic of Indonesia Number 90 / D / T / 2009 dated January 21, 2009.
