during exacerbation
Target saturation 88-92%

Short acting beta2


agonist with or without
anticholinergics

A dose of 40 mg
prednisone/day for 5 days
is recommended

The choice of antibiotic


should be base on the local
bacterial resistance pattern

condition of patient
