mammals
Define the term blood pressure and pulse
Blood vessels

 There are three types of blood vessel.

 They include the:
 arteries
 capillaries
 vein
Arteries

Its function is to transport blood swiftly and at high pressure to the tissue
Capillaries
Veins
Its function is to return blood to the heart.
 However the blood which enters vein at a much lower pressure than in
arteries
This low blood pressure in veins create a problem. Have you ever consider how
blood can return upward from your legs?
Blood pressure
 This is the pressure of the blood that pushes out on the walls of the blood vessel.
 The blood pressure aorta is around 120mm hg
PULSE-
The blood in the artery does not flow/travel smoothly but surges caused by heart beat.
The surge felt Is known as pulse.
Or pulse I the wave through the arteries cause by the stretch and recoil of the aorta
