• Inspection of each material receive based on its approved


technical detail/ Physical Inspection
• Document the report
• If received material is inspected &approved, then transfer to the
store or else send back to the supplier

Pre-Installation meeting:
A pre-installation meeting will be conducted between Consultants, PMC ,
before the installation to identify any challenges faced . A sign off has to be
taken from client before proceeding with the same.

WHAT WENT WRONG


 Earthing
WRONG Existing earthing was not executed in mother soil, was filled up with
construction debris, could not achieve the desired earthing value results
REMEDY:Reconditioned and implemented remedial measurement by cascading
all earthing pits, achieving equal potential which solved the problem.

 Fitting erection in Lab:


WRONG: The entire ceiling was occupied with spiral AC ducts, no place to fix the
support for fittings.
REMEDY:Designed a new support system in MS structure and implemented and
acieved the alignment

VALUE ADDITIONS:

 All stand by secondary source was changed to aluminium cable from Copper
cable….saved +15 laks
 Rerouted the Bus bar raising main for UPS by introducing core cutting in the
ceiling and avoided Bus bar feeder piller, connected raising main directly to the
panel….. Saved +30 laks
 Reconditioned and used all existing builder earthing…. Saved + 5 laks
 Suggested and implemented tax saving by accepting PO on our chennai branch
office, closed all invoices against C form@ 2% on CST in place of @14.5% vat
saved ……+80 laks

WHAT WENT WRONG


 FITTING INSTALLATION WS AREA
WRONG: Erection was taken up in floated ceiling after work station was installed due
to delay of supply of fixtures,due to the width of the work station fixing of fitting and
achieving the alignment was difficult.

REMEDY: suggested and used prefabricated movable ladder with platform and
achieved the required results
 Challenges in obtaining CEIG approval:

WRONG: Two separate towers with two separate survey numbers was used present
in 10th floor, as per govt rules power source from two different survey numbers cannot
be interlinked

REMEDY: coordinated with PMC and consultant and redesigned the distribution of
loads and got the CEIG approval
