What I have learned from the experience?

I learned how to be more careful about relation because you will encounter
different people in the hotel, our supervisors are very approachable and also the
regular workers at the hotel, I am now more confident with myself, be more
Professional when it comes to the work place, learn to observe guests and take actions
to what to what they need,

My Experience with the people around me.

My co-OJT’s are responsible too with the work assigned to them, the Supervisor
Helped us the right thing to do and how it will be done, they’re focused on their
Work. The guests are really happy when they are satisfied with the service
The most memorable event during my practicum.

The most memorable event during my practicum where I successfully did my


Duties in the hotel, where I found another family. When all our hard works was noticed
by our Supervisor and regular housekeeping there, it inspire me to do more better
every day.

What I can recommend for the improvement of the Practicum Program.

I recommend to have more partnership with the big companies for the student to have
more opportunity and choices as well and to have another practicum Coordinator
because it’s hard to work alone with all files needed in the practicum
My advice to those who will take their practicum in the near future.

Just enjoy the practicum and you will learn a lot of things. Be serious with tour
Work because it will help you in the near future. Be ready for what problems may come
and you may experience in your practicum. Always think positive.

What I have learned from the experience?
Teamwork is important in business, especially in the hotel and restaurant management
industry the cooperation of all the members of each department should be there. Each
Member should be passionate about their doing their task, to provide great service and
Costumer satisfaction. Making customer happy with the service offered id the number
one goal. So if theres no cooperation ,the business will never be effective and will
never achieve its objective. And the failure of a single person will be the future of
everyone that’s why working with your learn and being passionate on what you do are
some of the keys to delver great service.

My experience with the people around me


I have learned that each customer will always be different from the other. Different
personality, different preference and different standards. So the script you’ve been
memorizing during your class will just serves as your starter or guide but expects that it
will not always turn out the way you expected. With my experience, I can say that each
person needs different approach.
The most memorable event during my practicum
I will always hold on the people I’ve met in Villa Caceres Hotel. The people whom I
get friends with. The people who teach me and help me grow as an individual. And the
people I made memories with. I am so grateful, because of them and they will always
have a place in my heart

What I can recommend for the improvement of the practicum program

I appreciate Villa Caceres effort on training and preparing us. But I think it would also
be best if after the on-the-job training, the company will also conduct a skill evaluation
or actual test and exit interview

My advice to those who will take their practicum in the near future
Know your field. You can start by going to school regularly, do you homework, listen
to all the theories and lectures and read or do your own research. In short, be prepared.
