Stir for > 4hours (or overnight consider as 1 day maturation)
 Water : To TSC 15%
Inspect the compound parameters: TSC, pH and Viscosity.
Ready for dipping 1, 5 and 15days maturation for film evaluation
All dispersion is mix and diluted with water, filter with 100mesh before add into the compound.
Coagulant Formulation:
 Coagulant 8%
Calcium Nitrate Solution 50% : 160.00
Water : 800.00
Teric Solution: 15.00
AntiTack 50%: 18.00
Mix and heat to 60c , ready for dipping
Check Coagulant properties: Density, pH

 Coagulant 12% (for Clay > 10phr)

 Coagulant 16% (for Clay > 15phr)
Dipping Preparation:
Mold:
• Clean and preheat to 60c prior dipping
Coagulant:
• Must preheat the coagulant to 60c (inside oven or heater) and stir properly
for better distribution.
• Filter the coagulant 200mesh from time to time to ensure good disperse of
the Anti-tack agents.
Latex Compound:
• Filter the latex after complete dipping, with 100mesh from time to time to
detect any lump formation (indication of stability).
• Must recorded the Latex pH, TSC, Viscosity prior dipping.
• Must stir properly the latex compound , and avoid bubble formation prior
dipping
Lab Dipping Procedures: Film Preparation
1. Heat the mold to 60c (about 5 minutes)
2. Heat the Coagulant to 60c prior usage.
3. Dip into Coagulant and Dwell for 5sec.
4. Let the mold dry at room temperature (about 15 minutes)
5. Dip into Latex compound and Dwell for 5sec. (Latex TSC, pH and Viscosity recorded)
6. Let the dipped mold dry at RT (about 5minutes)
7. Dip into Latex compound and Dwell for 3sec.
8. Dry at 60c oven for 30sec.
9. Dip into Hot water (40-50c) , dwell 15sec and repeat 3 times.
10. Cure the film in oven , program 80,100,110,120,100c (25minutes)
11. Cool down and strip the film from the mold carefully.
12. To ease the stripping and avoid film stick together, apply talc before stripping
Keep the film in desiccator for overnight and 5days , to determine tensile properties.
Check the film density, opaque and original cum aging tensile properties
All coagulant and Latex, must Stir before use
