Introduction:

 Streaming music, or more accurately streaming audio, is a way of delivering

sound — including music — without requiring you to download files from the
internet. Music services like spotify.com, gaana.com, pandora.com and Apple
Music use this method to provide songs that can be enjoyed.
 Streaming differs from downloads in that no copy of the music is saved to
our hard drive. If we want to hear it again, we can easily stream it again,
although some paid streaming music services allow us the option to do both—
stream and download.
 Our project aimed to make an easy and user friendly music streaming
website.
Existing System:

 Music services like spotify.com, gaana.com, pandora.com and Apple Music use
this method to provide songs that can be enjoyed.
Problem Statement:

 The problems faced by this system are numerous. Some of the problems
surrounding the existing system include:
 Time Consuming and Slow: Sometimes these sites take a long time to
load specially when they are accessed from our country.
 Premium: Most of the sides are premium, we need to pay money to get
membership.
 Organization: The present system is not organized in a manner that it will
be effective.
 Lack of Bengali Music: These sites do not have enough Bangla songs,
especially the traditional songs of Bangladesh.
 VPN: We need to use VPN to access those sides.
Proposed System:

In web-based music portal, anyone interested in listening musics can just sit in
the comfort of wherever he/she is and listen whatsoever song he/she wishes.
The listener can search for songs based on the name of the artist, album in which
the song was sang, or the name of the song itself. Even if the user misspells the
song, forgets the album title or doesn’t know the song artist, options will be
given so that he/she can get what he/she wants. Web Based Music Portal would
be managed by an administrator. Thus there would be two different classes of
users logging on to the site. One is the listener looking for a song or songs, and
then the administrator who controls the whole process.
Objectives:

 It helps music fans get what they want this website has added an impressive
amount of filters: by song, singer, album, genre, mood, and even by freshness
of the release, to ensure everybody get what they wanted.
 Our users will be able to:
 Sign up
 Search for all their favorite artists, albums and songs in real time!
 Create and customize their own playlists
 Control the music with all the usual controls such as play, pause, skip,
previous, shuffle, repeat etc.
 And much, much more!
 Language and Tools:

Languages: 1.HTML ,CSS ,PHP, Bootstrap for interface designing.

2.Java Script or JQuery for client –side validation.
3. MYSQL for Database.
Tools: Notepad++ or any other editor, MYSQL for database, Apache server.
Feasibility Study:

 It is a free website. We do not need to pay for this website. It is not necessary
to use VPN. Music can be browsed or searched by artist, album, genre,
playlist and record label. Users can create, edit and share playlists, share
tracks of social networks and make playlist with other users.

Conclusion and Future Work:

 The Web Based Music Portal is one step towards increasing productivity and
quality of service in Music. The project work the design and implementation
music portal environment that could be used to download and upload music.
In this project, we implemented a web-based music portal that is loosely
coupled. With the implementation of this system; interested persons can
download music easily
