- Introduction -
A. Background
The importance of adolescent reproductive
health is to prepare adolescents for changes that occur
(physical and psychological) and increase knowledge
and insights about reproductive health (Ministry of
Health, 2010).
Around the world every year there are 40-60
million adolescents who have free sex and there are
1.2 billion adolescents experiencing pregnancy outside
of marriage (DKRI, 2015).
There are several sources of information about
reproductive health from the internet, parents, and
friends (Results of the Indonesian Demographic and
Health Survey, 2012).
Survey Results in 2017 by APJII, 51.06% of
adolescents used the internet as a source of
information about reproductive health and only
14.05% of adolescents consulted health services.

- To know the differences adolescents perceptions of
health based on access to information sources

 Specific purpose of research:


- Knowing adolescents perception of reproductive
health originating from the internet.
- Knowing adolescents perception of reproductive
health originating from the parents.
- Knowing adolescents perception of reproductive
health originating from the friends.

HYPOTHESIS
Ha: There are differences in the perception of
adolescents about reproductive health based on
information sources.

Ho: There is no differences in the perception of


adolescents about reproductive health based on
information sources.

- Research methods -

A. Research Design
- The quantitative research method uses analytical design
with a cross-sectional approach.

B. Population and Samples


- Popilation : 100 adolesncentss in LemahDadi Village.
- Samples (inclusion and exclusion criteria). The sampling
technique used is simple random sampling.
C. Place and time
- Place : Lemahdadi Village.
- Time : November-December 2019.

D. Research Variables
- Independent variable (access to information
sources).
- Dependent variable (adolesent perceptions of
reproductive health).
