OVERBOOKING

• Happens where there are more reservations accepted than the hotel rooms
available capacity.
UNDERBOOKING

• Happens when there are so many rooms available and very few reservation
are coming into the hotel.
MANUAL RESERVATION

• Even in the modern technology through computers, many small properties are
still using the manual method of processing reservations.
• Manual reservations are primitive but effective reservation systems with the
use of combination of cards or charts displayed on wall.
