What is Citicoline ?

– Citicolin is a drug that works by increasing the chemical compounds in the brain
called phospholipid phosphatidylcholine.
What is the function of Citicoline 
?
This compound has the effect of
 protecting the brain
 maintaining normal brain function, and
 reducing brain tissue damaged by injury. In addition, citicolin can increase blood flow and oxygen
consumption in the brain.

Actually, citicolin is a brain chemical compound that naturally exists in the human body. Its use as
a drug is thought to be beneficial in:

 Improve memory.
 Speed up the recovery period due to stroke.

– Hypersensitivity to Citicoline

– Insomnia.
– Headache.
– Diarrhea.
– Low blood pressure or hypotension.
– High blood pressure or hypertension.
– Nausea.
– Impaired vision.
– Pain in the chest.
How to use Citicoline?

– Follow the doctor's advice and read the instructions on the drug package before taking citicolin.
Do not add or reduce doses without the doctor's knowledge. Citicolin tablets may be taken with
or without food.

– Citicolin injections are only given by the doctor so that the dosage is according to the patient's
needs. Injections are given through the muscles (intramuscularly) or to the veins (intravenously).

– Observe the bottle or packing syringe before using it. Injectable fluid must be clear and without
particles. Avoid using citicolin if the liquid has changed color, contains particles, or the packaging
is leaking. If so, ask the medical officer to replace and give the new drug packaging.
