Plan (detailed) EXECUTION PLAN (DETAILED)
Pre-event Analysis

In order to outline our objective, it’s crucial to understand

theme of the event. A financial-technological summit
would require reaching out to companies of similar
domain.
We can also pull up previously accumulated database to
look for contact details of key individuals.
Multi-faceted Event Marketing

Once our new database is ready, it’s time to let people know
about the event. Crisp content emails, infographics, tweets, and
Facebook and LinkedIn posts should be used to generate buzz.
At least three hashtags (e.g. #FinTech2018, #DigitalFinance,
#IFCCI2018) should be dedicated to the event on
Twitter/LinkedIn.
Meanwhile, other related and relevant keywords (like
#Blockchain, #Crypto, #Cybersecurity) should also be used.
Leveraging Existing Marketing Activities

Aside from digital marketing tactics, traditional ways such

as fliers and brochures could prove helpful too.
Printing business cards is as vital as updating the events
section on the website.
Collaborating with local media partners and promoting our
event through their channels (magazines, blogs) could be
highly effective.
Ongoing & Post Event Marketing

Creating posts and live tweets as the event unfolds

enhances credibility.
Highlighting important features of the summit on social
media will tell a story to rest of our target audience. This
way we can also create leverage for the next event.
Also, digging in to metrics of launched email campaigns,
social media promotions and search engine marketing will
allow us to improve future promotions.
