to drive even a GoKart; however, he motivated himself to
the end. He also couldn't afford to have a top model
vehicle: he drove middle-class karts because he only had
the resources to acquire of that type

Maldonado enters the Formula Renault
championship of Italy as a driver of the
Cram Competition team. He was only
eighteen in that season; even so, he
managed to get a pole position and
reach the podium three times, away

participated in Formula Renault Italia
again and in Formula Renault Europe.

As the years went by, Maldonado had options to get a seat at Hispania Racing
in 2010, always like the racing prodigy, on December 1 of that year, his
participation was confirmed with the Williams Williams team for the 2011
season. Pastor had conversations with certain Formula 1 teams after winning
the GP2 Series championship.
The DragonSpeed team also confirmed that Maldonado will hold the ‘super
season’ of the World Endurance Championship, which begins on May 5 with
the 6-hour Spa-Francorchamps dispute.
