mixtures of immiscible liquids or of a liquid and a


solid mixture such as a suspension.

separation of a mixture. The mixture is dissolved in a
fluid called the mobile phase, which carries it
through a structure holding another material called
the stationary phase. The various constituents of the
mixture travel at different speeds, causing them to
separate

used to store data in computers, and are important
in scanning machines called MRIs (magnetic
resonance imagers), which doctors use to look
inside people's bodies

spinal alignment, and joint manipulation to
stimulate tissues.
