     LC3 is a new type of cement that is based on the blend
    of limestone and calcined clay.
     LC3 can reduce C02 emissions by up to 30%
     Limestone and low grade clays are readily available in
    the earth
    Pros of LC3
     Since CO2 emissions are greatly reduced, LC3 is a
    green solution fit for the present day
     It is cost effective and does not require intensive
    capital modifications to existing plants
     It is a known technology

     Due to the high costs of production an immediate
    solution was needed.
     Currently 42.5 is produced at a clinker setting to of
    85% and 32.5 at 65%
     LC3 studies show that 32.5 can be produced at a clinker
    setting of 50% or less than that
