All the features discussed in this PowerPoint will be

located in:

Settings→ General→ Accessibility

Vision Accessibility

Larger Text Size:

● When activating Larger Text size on the iPad, apps such as, maps,
calendar, contacts, mail, & messages, convert to a larger, easier-to-read
font size. The apps within the iPad adapt to the change of font size so
that the text remains clear and legible.
Vision Accessibility

Bold Text:

● Within the iPad, bold text makes the text heavier and darker for those
visually impaired.
Vision Accessibility

VoiceOver:

● iPad allows individuals to touch and drag their fingers across the screens,
resulting in VoiceOver saying what’s there. Individuals will tap the button
to hear the description and double tap the screen to select the app.
Flicking of the fingers will result in the movement of one page to the
next. This feature is ideal for individuals who are deaf-blind.
Hearing Accessibility

FaceTime:

● iPad allows individuals to catch every gesture and facial expression (with
good connection) with the use of FaceTime. FaceTime is ideal for
individuals who are deaf and communicate through sign language. IOs
allows individuals to communicate nationally and globally.
Hearing Accessibility

Closed Captions:

● iPad allows individuals to watch TV, videos, podcasts, etc. with the use of
closed captioning. Individuals can customized subtitles and captions with
different styles and fonts. This feature is more ideal for individuals who
have hearing disabilities (deafness).
