discipline specific material as well as to read, write, and
think analytically
•Provide feedback on student work
•Model how to perform each stage of the learning process
•Develop tutoring materials
•Help other students to develop motivation, effective study
habits, self-confidence, responsibilities, and independence
 Main Responsibilities
•Tutor students
•Maintain & upkeep records
•Make visits to classes promoting tutoring services &
resources
•Cooperate with other tutors and staff
•Promote tutorial services on campus
•Perform other duties as assigned
