through hacking and requiring a ransom to
be paid.
Ransomware attacks are usually caused by Tr
ojans which is a disguised file in which the us
er is tricked into downloading.

Ransomware greatly effects the society to those who were eff
ected. Paying or not paying the ransom may have consequen
ces. Paying the ransom may be expecting an unethical entity
to act ethically and do what they say they are going to do whi
le not paying the ransom may result to a higher cost of d
amage than the cost of paying the ransom.
