WHAT IS HONOUR KILLING ?
Honour killimg is the homicide of a
member of family or social group by other
members,due to the believe of the
perpetrators that the victim has brpught
dishonor upon the family and community

• Refusing arrange marriage
• Rape
• Disobeying the dresscode given by family or
society
• Adultery
• For asserting independence
MISCONCEPTIONS….
• The first misconception about
the honour killing is that it is only
limited to the rural areas

• The second misconception is

that it has religious roots

• No proper Strict actions

• Raise awareness Through education among the people

• Set up fund to raise money to halt domestic violence

• Youth of India should be mobilized

• We can also intimate the authorities about this that where

it was happening and advice them to take some strict
actions
