 Title: How apt the title has been relative to the content

 Coherence: Consistency and Flow of the subject matter

 Length of Paragraphs: Should not be too long, particularly for


Editorials

 Choice of: Topic for Editorial/Book for Report/Idea for Political


Cartoon/Event for Photo Reporting

 Interest Generated: Ability to grab attention and generate interest for


anyone

 Sentence Construction: Meaningful and very clear; no
ambiguities

 Title Case: Must have

 Spellings and Punctuation: Should be perfect

 Line Spacing: Should be uniform throughout the document

 Font Style and Size: Should be uniform throughout the document

 Special Features: How well is an Editorial concluded with


suggestions/How well is a Review written in a Book Report/How
