This is my 18th year teaching. I
can now say that I have taught
every grade on the Elementary
level. I have taught in Clayton
County Schools, as well as the
private sector. Teaching is my
passion and every year I look
forward to watching my students
grow not only academically but as
people. I hold a Masters degree in
Curriculum and Instruction and a
Specialist degree in Educational
Leadership. When I am not busy

weakness.

• Students participate in hands-on experiments to learn the
scientific process; students record facts and observations

curricular projects throughout the year.
• Classwork is an ongoing assignment that may not be completed
each day but may be completed over a period of time.
• Homework is pretty consistent with 20-30 minutes of reading
as well as math homework nightly. All homework should be
recorded in agendas each morning after bookbags are
unpacked.
• Practice math facts daily

• Late Work Late work is accepted up to five days
• 2 points are taken off the final grade for each day is is
late.

We want to promote healthy choices for all
children and encourage them to avoid sugar
laden foods.
I have a sign up for parents to bring in
class snacks so that EVERY child has
something to eat during this time.
Examples of acceptable snacks:
fruits, vegetables, pretzels, granola,
goldfish crackers, etc…
