Physical Education 10

I. Content Standards

The learners demonstrate understanding of lifestyle and weight management to

promote societal fitness.

II. Performance Standards

1. The learners maintain an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity

participation of the community and society.

2. The learners practice healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle.

III. Learning Competencies

1. Determines risk factors related to lifestyle diseases (obesity, diabetes, heart

diseases)

2. Expresses sense of purpose and belongingness by participating in physical

activity-related community services and programs fitness.

IV. Performance Task

A. “Diary or Journal of Active Lifestyle and Healthy Eating Habit Practices”

Task Description A:
Let the students make their diary or journal regarding maintaining active lifestyle to

influence physical activity participation in the community and society and practicing healthy

eating habits that support and active lifestyle for the month of July.

The diary or journal of each learner shall contain their practices of active lifestyle and

healthy eating habit.

B. Students’ Action Plan in maintaining healthy lifestyle and healthy eating habit.

Task Description B:

Each student should formulate an action plan by accomplishing the following format.

The first column should include health problems/issues or goals a student needs to resolved

or attain, the second column are the activities in addressing problems or issues a student

should engage or an action in order to attain such goal. It also includes the day and time when

student perform specific activity and most importantly, the result after the performance of

such activity. Results are the reflections of each student on their current practices stated in

Performance Task A.

V. Evaluation Criteria

The content of the diary or journal prepared by the learners will be assessed based on

the following checklist.

II. Performance Task

Task Description A:

You are asked to prepare diary or journal regarding maintaining active lifestyle to

influence physical activity participation in the community and society and practicing healthy

eating habits that support and active lifestyle for the first quarter.

Your diary or journal should contain your practices of active lifestyle and healthy

eating habit for the month of July.
