• Companies that heavily distributed system landscape, frequently have problems consolidating
information for the credit decisions. With FSCM-CR , it can collect and process information about the
credit exposure of a business partner from various SAP and non-SAP systems.
• The number of financial accounting or SD systems the company uses is not relevant to this too. With
FSCM Credit Management consolidates the information from these systems into the credit exposure for
the respective business partner, and this enables you to monitor the business partner’s credit limit
centrally.

• Companies with a large number of business partners . FSCM-CR helps automate a large part of their
credit management processes, such as scoring and rating of business partners, proposal of credit limits,
notification of credit analysts, monitoring of credit limits.

• For companies that want to combine internal and external data for a business partner in a separate
scoring or rating. The integration of external information providers is very important here. We can access
this external information automatically through XML interfaces and then use it in "SAP Credit
Management" ("FIN-FSCM-CR").
Business Partner in S4- Hana

Business Partners are the new way of maintaining master data in S/4 Hana , and this is the central point where all customer related information ,
will be available . In S/4 Hana , all credit specific information is stored in Business partners , rendering earlier master data related transactions
obsolete like XD01 /XD02/XD03 , VD01 /VD02/VD03 XK01 /XK02 /XK03 . The T.code for creating or maintaining the master data is BP .

CONFIGURATION OF CREDIT MANGEMENT IN ECC

For configuring the credit Management we have to do many steps to make check
control in sales and block in Delivery document , just for reference below are the
steps which we are doing in ECC to configure

This risk category can be assigned to a credit account by using Transaction code FD32
Settings for the credit checks

1. Go to OVAK , Assign Credit check as per Sales document Or go to VOV8 select order type select Credit Check

Go to OVA7 check box credit active as per item category below are the screen ( Update of the credit value is active for
the corresponding item type if the check box is marked )
. Go Transaction OVA8
Here, the individual credit checks for key fields
o credit control area
o risk category
o credit group are set. Take these key fields from the above settings and go to the detail
screen. In particular, check whether fields "Reaction" and "Status/block" are set
correctly. To carry out follow-up actions in case of a credit block, the credit check
status must be set (field "Status/block").. Below are the screen sequence.
