Goal of this portfolio is to give you a deeper insight into my experiences
and skills I have gained over my recent history. It is my hope that this
will allow you to better assess how my skills can be applied to your

About Me
Performance delivering design engineer, passionate about designing, proficient in CAD modelling and Drafting with 1 year
experience in designing gears in Solid works as a research assistant at MUST. Demonstrated ability to work as a team in
multiple deadline bound projects. I am driven by the desire to gain knowledge and work hard to achieve the desired goals.
Objective:
Seeking for the position as a Design Engineer within an organization that progresses dynamically and provides me an
opportunity to enhance my skills and update my knowledge.
Core Competencies:
• 1 year experience in designing in solid works as a research assistant at MUST.
• Proficient in the use of Solid works, Auto Cad and ANSYS.
• Proficient Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Technologies.
Education and Qualifications:
2014-18 Mirpur University of Science and Technology, AJ&K (BEng Mechanical Engineering)
Principal modules:
CAD/CAM, CAD Lab(Solid works, ANSYS), Design of Machine elements, Engineering Drawing, Production Drawing, Product
Design, Manufacturing Processes, Mechanics of Materials, Automotive Engineering.
Final year Project: “Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Flow Around Two Rotating Cylinders” using ANSYS.
Role: I was involved in designing and Analysis of the rotating cylinders in ANSYS Fluent, giving presentation to tutors to describe
the project and regular meetings with the team members to apply different techniques to solve the issues regarding the
development of the model.
Result: Successfully Find the Analysis of the flow around two rotating cylinders. Achieved „A‟ grade in the project Developed an
excellent knowledge on designing and analyzing different components using ANSYS.
Interests, Activities and Achievements
I like making 3d models in solid works.
President of the Club ASHRAE MUST Chapter in MUST.
Organized and Coordinated two National level events at MUST.
Work Experience
2017-18 Research Assistant at MUST
 Assisted in the project of Designing and Analysis of Gear Trains; modelled gears in solid
works, conducted stress analysis, Conducted load calculations on internal and external gears.
 Conducted modelling of different components.

 Worked with the various departments of the company including Services,Weapons and SA.
 Key learning in the areas like CNC-Machining, Hydraulics, Controls and Power Systems e.t.c.
 Got practical exposure in segments like Manufacturing, Assembling and Maintenance
01June-15July 2017 Internee Engineer at Milat Tractors Limited Lahore
 Worked with the various departments of the company including EAP, TAP and Maintenance.
 Key learning in the segment of Engine and Tractor assembly of the corporation.
 Got practical exposure in segments Engine Assembly, vehicle assembly and Project Appraisal.
