AIMS & OBJECTIVES
TYPE OF STUDY:
Patients are studied for a period of 1
Year & their Follow-up is taken for 6
months.

CASE DEFINITION:
Paediatric Rhinitis is
an acute infection of the upper respiratory
tract presenting with symptoms like hay-
fever, sneezing, nasal blockage, etc.
Allergic Rhinitis may be seasonal or
perennial. Cold occurs every 1-2 months.
Its presenting symptoms are fever, nasal
congestion & rhinorrhoea.

INCLUSION CRITERIA:
Children between 6 months to 10 years are
included presenting with the above symptoms.
EXCLUSION CRITERIA:
L.R.T.I. & E.N.T. diseases are to be excluded.
INVESTIGATION/DIAGNOSTIC
TECHNIQUES:
Diagnosis is to be made on H/o exposure to
allergens if any & on presenting symptoms.
Routine Blood Tests are done to rule out
Eosinophilia, etc.

CRITERIA FOR ASSESSMENT:
A well-selected homeopathic remedy chosen
on symptom-similarity & individualization leads
to decrease in symptoms like sneezing,
blockage, etc. in a few days thus preventing
end-complications. Also, frequency of attacks
is reduced.
SELECTION & ADMINISTRATION OF DRUGS:
A suitable repertory is selected for
repertorization of the above symptoms. Sugar
pills medicated with the indicated remedy are
given to the patient.
OBSERVATION AND ANALYSIS:
Patient will be observed for:
Relief from symptoms.
