 AIM and OBJECTIVE

We have designed an automatic toll booth manager

system in which a person can use either an RFID or a
fingerprint to pay a toll charge. These system do not require
any human interaction. By swiping RFID card, if it has
sufficient balance the data is send to the controller then the
amount deducted and the balance amount is intimated through
GSM. Incase if the user forget to bring the RFID card then
there will be offer them the same service by means of
biometric as a valid authentication.
 INTRODUCTION

• In road ways there is an increase in the number of toll

plazas. These toll plazas have long queues and the
time consumed in paying cash and returning changes
causes delay. Thus we have designed an automatic
toll booth management system in which a person can
use either an RFID card or a fingerprint to pay the toll
charge.
• These technologies are found in many industries like
healthcare, transportation etc..
 EXSISTING WORK

Unmanned toll E-ticketing system

Now a days almost all highway toll plazas are manually
operated, providing a receipt. We introduce automatic process
of toll collection where it will collect the toll from vehicles
when they cross the toll plaza that will reduce traffic jams on
busy highways. If the balance in the owner’s account is
insufficient or the vehicle is not registered, the toll gate
remains closed. This will improves the security. Number of
vehicles and the number of times a vehicle is passing through
the toll gate, get stored in the database and possible to detect
stolen vehicles. vehicle theft can be prevented by anti-theft
alarm.
